PROSPECTIVA is a journal of Social Work and social intervention that publishes on a continuous basis, with two issues per volume (year). Its interests are the development of social thought and contemporary social work, in particular that of Latin America, and the dissemination of knowledge that contributes to processes of social transformation.

In order to broaden dissemination and improve impact and citation indexes, from 2024, PROSPECTIVA Revista de Trabajo Social e Intervención Social will publish its articles in two languages: Spanish and English. This means that papers approved in Spanish must be translated into English and those approved in English must be translated into Spanish for publication. The author of the article must manage the specialized translation when it is in its final version.
