The paper aims this article seeks to present the successful experience of Red Juvenil Territorio Sur as a process of great social and environmental importance of the South of the city of Bogota. This network of individuals includes the participation of social actors who represent the past and the future: the youth, with the intention of influencing social transformation by encouraging education and training in processes such as the construction and study of public policies, experiential learning, the actions in social networks, and participation in different local, national and international contexts. Their ultimate goal is to understand the real dynamics of society, through the reconstruction of a socially responsible environmental culture, in order to progress towards human survival, quality of life, dignity and welfare. The methodological approach for this study was Participatory Action Research (PAR) by Tomas R. Villasante, as well as diverse paradigms for social network analysis and sociometry, aimed to identify the work of Red Juvenil Territorio Sur, as an organization with environmental goals,visualizing their territorial exercise, as well as the network´s relational structures and those of the groups that make part of it.
