Re- read history : Traffic and dispersal routes of early knowledge of the social work

The paper traces some historical facts that allow to understand how the way since early it was setting the intersubjective construction of the work of social workers, that led to the emergence of the social work as a field of intervention and as a field of knowledge, but also as an activity that was inserted into the logics of the wage society and therefore, in a gainful activity. The idea is not to replace the old stories with new some neither, to replace old interpretations for new others; on the contrary, re-reading the story raises a clear challenge: to integrate other perspectives that have not been considered and to that extent broader perspective for understanding of events.
