A Model for Citizenship Education: A Basis for Social Transformation Processes

This article focuses on the main findings of a study aimed at conceiving a theoretical and pedagogical model for citizenship education, a Uniminuto’s ethical and political proposal for the design of a guide for educational processes. Departing from a documental analysis, the author discusses how it is possible to bring about critical and active citizens who are capable of positively influencing people’s reality for social change.
