Health conditions, nourishment and caring of childhood are recognized priorities in state policies in Latin America; however, these aspects have been tackled in a fragmentary way. As a manner to overcome biased perspectives, this paper argues the need to recognize the relationships between the right to nutrition and the right to caring through what I name the right to nourishment caring. It is supported in the feminist theory accounts that advocate for the recognition of care as a fundamental human right. The purpose is to show the gender feature that has supported inequalities in this work, as well as to give reasons to support the recognition of the right to nourishment caring as a central pillar within citizenship rights.
